Where do you hold your teaching sessions?

All sessions are held in my dedicated, purpose-built classroom at my home. This is a warm, welcoming space and I am fully insured.

Do you have a specific teaching qualification?

I am a fully qualified teacher with a B.Ed (Hons) degree. I have over 28 years of teaching experience across different schools and age ranges. I hold a valid DBS certificate.

How do you charge for your teaching services?

I invoice for lessons every half term, paid in advance by bank transfer. Charges may vary so please inquire for my current price list.

Do you offer 1-to-1 lessons?

I mainly provide small group lessons as I find students learn from each other and benefit from the interactive atmosphere of learning among their peers. But I believe in personalised attention and keep groups very small in order to give each student my focused attention. Please inquire if you have specific needs as I may be able to accommodate your child.

Do you only offer 11+ tuition?

I mainly specialise in the 11+ course for Year 5 students as there is a high demand in the local area. But I also provide small groups for Year 4 National Curriculum support and Year 6 tuition to prepare for the SAT's tests at the end of Year 6. Please inquire and I will try to accommodate your needs.
